Call to Action in Solidarity with the Movement for Black Lives

For this action day, we are encouraging people to seek to understand the vision and goals of the movement for Black Lives and think deeply about how their personal values align with the movement. We are then asking participants to commit to supporting the causes, actions, and efforts that they believe will sustain and contribute to the liberation of the Black community.

We recognize that not everyone can take the entire day off, and we ask that you commit to carving out time that best fits your schedule (1 hour, a few hours etc.)

Here is a resource guide which contains ideas for actions you can take such as signing petitions, contacting government officials and making donations or engaging with causes and organizations. These resources have been complied as a collaborative effort through individual research. It is by no means a comprehensive or complete list; it is a living document open to amendments and additions. We encourage you to do personal research before taking any action.  If you have questions, comments, concerns about this resource guide, please contact [email protected].
