Our DEI Team

Kim Murphy is currently serving as the Interim Co-Chair of the BCH DEI Council.  Kim has worked at UCSF Health for almost nine years as Director of Special Events & Community Relations overseeing all of the fundraising events for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital San Francisco.  In 2017, Kim co-founded the Women of UCSF Health initiative with COO Sheila Antrum which is aimed at celebrating, inspiring and empowering all women at UCSF.  Through this work, Kim partnered with the Committee on the Status of Women to create the first International Women’s Day celebration at UCSF in 2019 which was extended to both sides of the bay in 2020.  More recently, Kim transitioned to a role with Health Administration and is currently focused on our people operations especially as we navigate the impact of COVID on our work lives.  Kim has been honored to serve as Interim Co-Chair since April 2020.
