BCH Safe Spaces on Gaza Conflict

We want to acknowledge the devastating impact of the Israel-Hamas conflict on all those who are in Israel, Gaza and the West Bank. As pediatric health care providers, we also recognize the profound impact the war has on ourselves, patients, families, our local communities, and all those who love and support each group or feel connected to their struggles.

To help address this impact, our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Anti-Racism (DEI/AR) leadership is hosting several Safe Spaces sessions for the BCH community on December 13 & 14. Utilizing our established DEI/AR framework of cultural humility and community inclusiveness, the sessions will provide a dedicated forum to engage in dialogue.

For grounding principles, we want you to understand that the BCH Safe Spaces are intended to provide healing for those experiencing deep pain, and an opportunity to listen, share and receive support. The spaces are not intended as venues for debate or political discourse.

BCH SAFE SPACE SESSIONS

Registration with your UCSF email is required to attend. You will receive the Zoom information via email after registering. We ask that this invitation not be forwarded to others outside of BCH to ensure safety and connection within the spaces.
